Chronology
Four kids make a mysterious discovery on their home planet that leaves them lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Jude Law in "Skeleton Crew" plus more stars from a galaxy far, far away. The holographic circus that entertains Neel’s young siblings is the same as Chewbacca’s family hour in the infamous The Star Wars Holiday Special (1978).
When I saw the first episode, I was so happy that it was about 40 minutes
I think this series is great so far, but there’s one issue that really annoys me: the running time. Then came the second part: if you count the flashback and the credits, it’s not even 25 minutes. If I get 25 minutes of a show every week, I have to see what happened last week.
As for the cast: God, they’re kids
When you can’t get lost in space anymore, you’ve warmed up, it’s over. Incredibly voracious! I probably won’t watch it for months and I’ll try to avoid any spoilers so I can watch it all next year.
It’s clear they haven’t had years of acting training
Still, the main characters are likable, the music is spot on, and the action isn’t exactly kid-friendly either. After two episodes, I’m excited to see what happens next, but unfortunately I won’t know until next year.
