A unique profile of British pop superstar Robbie Williams
The film was created from several interview recordings that filmmaker Michael Gracey shot with Robbie Williams over the course of a year and a half at Williams’ recording studio in Los Angeles in the USA. Although the interviews were not originally intended for film as Gracey “just wanted to capture [Williams] in his own voice telling his story”, the majority of Williams’ voiceover in the film comes from these recordings.

Robbie Williams: If you want to laugh, do it inside, OK? One of the best films I have ever seen!
There were so many genuine emotions while watching
I was skeptical at first because Robbie was played by a monkey, but I forgot that after the first five minutes. It was a wonderful rollercoaster ride that I am still amazed by days later.
For better or for worse
I can’t wait to watch it many more times. So many homages to the different characters Robbie has encountered, very brave and humble of him to include this.
He really is the best entertainment!
I really enjoyed his complete honesty and that he mentioned his struggles with mental health and didn’t shy away from it. Well done.
